1.Lay the SPC flooring horizontally in the room where it will be installed:

he room temperature must be maintained between 18-22 degrees Celsius for 48 hours before installation and during installation. Do not open the packaging during this acclimatization period;

2. If installing over existing flooring:

• It can be installed over most existing hard floor coverings, but the existing floor must be clean, level, dry, and structurally sound.  Installation on any type of carpet is prohibited;

• All adhesive residue must be removed to ensure proper installation;

• The subfloor must be level, with a flatness tolerance of no more than 1/8 inch (3mm) over a 4-foot (approximately 1.22m) span. Areas exceeding this tolerance must be sanded or filled with a floor leveling compound; gaps or bumps in the subfloor will prevent the SPC flooring from locking together correctly;

• SPC flooring is waterproof, but moisture problems in the subfloor must be corrected before installation (humidity below 35% or above 60% requires treatment);

• New concrete floors require at least 60 days of curing; when installing on a concrete slab, a 0.6mm thick polyethylene film must be laid and the seams sealed to prevent moisture penetration that could cause residue on the floor surface;

• Existing sheet vinyl flooring should not have a thick cushioning layer; soft underlayment and substrates will reduce the strength of the product;

• Do not use solvents or citrus-based adhesive removers to remove old adhesive residue. Solvents remaining in or on the subfloor may affect the new floor covering;

3. If radiant heating is involved:

• A minimum of 1/2 inch (approximately 12.7mm) spacing must be maintained between the radiant heating system and the product;

• The maximum operating temperature must not exceed 85°F (30℃);

• The use of a floor temperature sensor is recommended to prevent overheating.
